How to Fix Shark Vacuum Brush Not Spinning

Many Shark vacuum cleaners come to our shop for repair. A common problem is that the brush roll stops rotating completely. Here, we will explain the reasons for this problem and show you a very, very easy way to fix it.

  1. Bad roll means that the hair is wrapped in hair. If the hair is wrapped on the brush, it may be that the brush has melted due to friction and it has stopped working. First, rotate the brush by hand. If it is fine, then it is fine. If this does not work, then you can buy a brush roller here. You may need it. If this does not solve the problem, then you can try the methods given below.
  2. The machines that are vacuums have a switch that selects the hard floor, which is the black one. If the hard floor is selected, then the brush roll is turned off. Make sure that the switch is on the mode of the call.
  3. The Shark brush works with a belt. If this belt breaks, the brush roll will stop spinning completely. You can easily check this belt, either by removing the base of the Shark or, if you have a little experience, by spinning it and feeling for tension. Remember, Shark vacuum belts rarely break, so this is a very uncommon issue. If the belt is the problem, replacing it is simple.
  4. This is the most common problem with the Shark vacuum that we see at our repair shop. Below, we explain the problem and what it means to fix it. They tell you right away.
